OVERVIEW:
This is Epic empowers hard to reach communities to create lasting change, through savings and investment initiatives. As the organisation looked ahead to its ambitious 2030 plans, we were tasked with delivering a vibrant rebrand that would reflect its growing impact and bold new vision.

APPROACH:
Through in-depth workshops with the charity’s team, we gathered insights into their needs and the aspirations for a modernised identity that could scale with their global mission.

The new branding was designed to embody a real sense optimism. The logo symbolises the power of community in shaping a brighter future. It was redesigned to be versatile, instantly recognisable, and adaptable across digital and real-world applications.

We chose bold colours and playful patterns to evoke a sense of positivity, giving traditional visuals a modern, energetic twist. The typeface is bold, warm, and playful, reflecting the charity's people-first approach.

The core message, "A help up, not a handout," guided everything we did. The charity isn't about giving away money; it's about providing the systems that empower people to build their own future on their terms. We wanted to celebrate individuals and bring their stories to life. The "sunbeam" elements from the logo serve as a visual device, that helps convey empowerment and positivity.

 We ensured the rebrand was consistent across all touch points. From creating a new website that better communicated the charity’s mission and impact to designing engaging social media materials, the brand came to life in a way that felt cohesive, impactful, and fresh.

A suite of materials for social platforms was developed, including templates and visual guidelines to ensure consistency in storytelling, whether it's a post on Instagram or an impact video for LinkedIn.

The new website is intuitive and responsive, designed to communicate the charity’s mission clearly and concisely while encouraging visitors to engage, donate, and support their projects. The site features interactive elements, strong calls to action, and storytelling through visuals and case studies.

RESULTS:
The rebrand has strengthened This is Epic's public image and positioned them as a modern, forward-thinking charity. Early feedback from stakeholders and the community has been overwhelmingly positive, with increased engagement on social media and greater visibility of their work.

This identity now sets the charity on a path towards achieving its 2030 goals with a clear, cohesive, and vibrant brand that represents the true spirit of their mission.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
