The Brief:
Lean ‘n’ Mean offer a selection of healthy food products that deliver big flavour without all the fat of red meat. They approached us to help brand their new range of chicken and poultry sausages. We were asked to develop a limited range of elements to launch at farmers’ markets and butchers for product testing.

Our Approach:
It was important to ensure that the brand and messaging were as punchy as their flavours, and, to make sure that it stood out in a rustic, organic market.
We created Fowl Mouth. We paired this quirky name with an aggressive bolt icon to create a logo with real attitude. A vivd yellow was used for the master brand to help increase visibility.
We then took a mean looking chicken and some meaner messaging to bring the product packaging to life.






The Result:
Both the bangers and the branding went down a treat. The colourful packaging helped the product to stand out from crowd and the messaging seemed to resonate well with consumers.
There has been plenty of buzz since, and with the products under going a few recipe tweaks here and there, we hope to see the product on our plates soon.
